    Hey all,

I have a Lenovo Edge 13 Laptop which runs super slow/freezes when plugged in.

I can have it charging and web sites / applications will almost freeze (run really slow) till I remove the power plug will then almost instantly load at once.

I have tried checking any power settings under the bios and also under windows and ensured that there were no power saving modes turned on

I am also using a genuine lenovo charger (65w). I can confirm the charger works great with another lenovo laptop (t500)

Just wondering if anyone might be able to provide any assistance.

    Thanks in advance

I've had a similar issue before on a Dell laptop that was specced to use a 90W charger. When plugged in, the CPU would slow down to 600MHz single-core and everything would grind to a halt. Using a 90W charger fixed this immediately.

Check your CPU frequency when the AC adapter is plugged in.
