Working on the watermark. I have had issues in the past year because I didn't use them. Better than nothing I guess.

So I'm having issues with the stark minimalism of this thing. I'm calling it Mid-Century Modern so that should allow me to get away with it. I can't help but think it looks unfinished...or not. A little bling maybe? I dunno. My insiders have given me a few suggestions, including leaving it alone. Anyone with an opinion? All input is welcome. Thanks in advance.

It's looking cool. It reminds me of the Level 10 by Thermaltake

I hear ya Smoken. Anxiety and self-doubt is just part of my process. I just go with it knowing I'm right on track. The side is book-matched. I believe cutting into it is illegal in some countries. Thanks for the input.

Looks great skip, I'm glad you left it as is, love the minimalism! "Mid-century Modern" has inspired me to do my own project with timber at some stage

Love the way the whole Lenovo case slides out from the back.

How are the temps? Do the bottom intake and "ducted exhaust" work as effectively as you'd hoped?

Thank you. I appreciate your vote.

No, no, no. Thank YOU for taking the time to read through it. Seriously.

It IS small. Exactly half the size if you measured H x W x L. But the volume is a quarter of the size. At least I think that is how that works.

Yeah, as long as the HDMI cable doesn't drag it down to the floor. Seriously...its a problem. Tail wagging the dog.

Thanks and no. My prices start at $5000US which consists of mostly the "Ruining My Hobby Fee". No takers yet and that's fine with me.

    Thanks mate.

Thanks BlueRaven. See post for some answers on cooling.

    Thanks buddy. I appreciate that.

I have been having fun playing with the computer. I figured that the video card was the weak link in the performance and by overclocking it I would be simultaneously testing the ventilation system.

I got a core clock of 870 (700 stock) from the 5750 and the memory clock of 1300 (1150 stock). I like to use the Far Cry 2 benchmark tool for testing. 4x AA and all settings maxed. Stock average was 49 FPS, Max 70, Min 38. Overclocked average was 64 FPS, Max 89, Min 51. The Delta cooling fan was turned down all the way using the Fanmate - about 2000RPM (max 4000RPM). The OC GPU temp hit 59 degrees C and the stock run came out at 57 degrees. I'm very pleased with the results.

Next up. Overclocking the CPU and bringing the PSU to its knees.
