Great news, should put downwards pressure on high end PC monitors pricing.
dang nammit, I only just purchased a 43" non-oled and still trying to offload my 34" widescreen, grrrrr.......
*starts hunting details of juicy new 42" oled....*
It certainly makes me think of going with a 42" oled eventually rather than the current short supply 48" from LG. It could be another year or two before we see 42" oled's available so my preference at this point is to hang out for the 48", if more stock ever comes
There's a 30" Monitor now too - but probably only 60hz
edit: new panels discussion moved to -
New LG UltraFine OLED Monitors 2021
Vincent talks 42" Oled....
new update today for our tv seems like the gui has been updated too
Yeah I hear they have updated the CX range for the issue of low brightness in game mode (3.21.16 firmware).
Was this a universal issue? Or maybe a HDR only issue? I never noticed it.
knowing australias luck we wont get the 42" here.. took alot of whining to get the 48" we may have pushed our luck.
Hopefully its not the new A series either which is only 60hz hdmi 2.0
Sorry not sure, only what I heard from an owner over at WP as being the issue fixed with the update.
Back in stock online again!
I would buy but quite frankly at this point in time I'm not prepared to spend that sort of money.
Yeah as much i would like one that price is not justifiable, especially over the 55".
I'm gonna hold out although I don't like my chances, not really doing any discounting on it yet, due to low stock numbers and plenty of demand I would assume.
Lots of new tech/ TVs releasing this year
I can wait
Anything likely to rival the 48" oled for a gaming/desktop monitor?
This! I dont think i could do 48" on my desk lol.
Not sure on that one..
Most of the new tech seems to be coming to big TV'S
Micro led etc
I am in exactly the same boat - I moved to 34" widescreen * 2 when my 43" died and definitely miss the realestate - I just dont miss it $2800 worth
