Does anyone know how to stop the C1 from changing it's audio profile from Standard to the game one by itself? The game profile has this god awful delay on it.

FWIW I'm using the inbuilt speakers as kind of a centre speaker and have some other speakers connected to the headphone out, needless to say when the audio mode switches the whole thing falls apart and I manually need to put it back to Standard.

I've done a search and it seems like this has been a thing for some time but no one seemed to have a solution.

TLDW: Both great but OLED wins, again.

Samsung Neo QLED only achieves more peak nit brightness, so if you're gaming in a really bright environment it is probably better. Also the QLED has no image retention if you're super paranoid about that.
For practically everything else, including gaming response time, LG OLED remains king.

    To add to this:

Firmware 03.15.95 available for those who can’t wait for it to be pushed :)

LG CX and C1 Now Support VRR Low Framerate Compensation
Update 06/29/2021: The LG CX has been retested, and low framerate compensation is now working properly. The LG CX and LG C1 are both nearly tear-free below 20Hz when connected to an HDMI 2.1 source."

also the Dolby Vision 120hz engineering firmware is out there in testing so we should get it very soon

Just a heads up for anyone looking to buy any of these screens, if you sign up to LG.com.au and create an account you receive a 15% new member discount coupon.

This beats all other online prices as far as I am aware

    Received my 55" C1 this week :D

I use a this little app that keep the HDMI audio channel active on my Panasonic Soundslayer, apparently with HDMI if there are no audio going through it, it will soft power off which introduces audio delays etc. It might help with your issue?

that might help, i will try it. the delay is an effect on the mode though. but if it can stop it switching modes that would help.

Yes I did, so far I have got the TV to turn off when I shut down but I can’t get it to turn on.

He also confirms it IS coming to the 2020 models in the next firmware which also brings DV 120fps. Phew!

That's working for me. May seem obvious but make sure you the tv is wifi or ethernet enabled. Also I use a WOL app on phone/tablet that wakes the pc. They also suggest using a static ip for the TV, I haven't bothered with that, but might need to do it later if it loses it's lease for whatever reason. Just read the instructions carefully to make sure you're doing everything they say to do. Program definitely does work and it's saving me effort, it's fantastic.

EDIT: before this I checked it was able to be woken over wifi by adding it to the LG app and then adding to Google Assistant ("OK Google, Study TV on"). So maybe do that first and if you can get that working you should be able to then use this. Oh and also the "Scan" function on the tool didn't work for me so I added the tv manually with ip and subnet.

Followed that guide including setting the Static IP on the TV

scan function worked for me, I will delete the setup and add it manually to see if that works.

Thanks for the info on this program….things like this is why I love OCAU

Just FYI and me being a geek and what I do for work going forward if you send and image and want to block out sensitive info don't use the pen tool if you know what you're doing and have the programs you code you can see the info or in your case mac address as its imbedded in the metadata to reproduce the original image and your location etc I can send you some tools and programs if you want to do it in future just an FYI

Also looking forward to the DV 120 update for the CX how is everyone finding their CX/C1 screens?
