I'm happy to sell some LTC as well.
Not keen on Paypal due to the easy reversal though.

I think I understand your sig now bluboy :p

Thanks for the compliment scorpia :)

unsure of settings for my 7950, I checked out the wiki and it recommends cgminer 3.5.1

been wary of pushing intensity too much, temps went almost to 80 and may have kept climbing at 20.

Thoughts on those who have 7950's?

    specifically twin frozr III, msi.

Is this thread just for discussing litecoin mining? I am interested in finding out how to mine some other coins as well. I went through the forum threads and only noticed a bitcoin and litecoin thread.

    Does anyone mine anything else?

    Thanks.

Alternatively, you could give them to me and I'll sell them for $13 and give you $11, a much less worse deal! We could even do $10.50 if you like! :p

Goodnight sweet prince.. you served us well. Down to 1 GPU in the LTC box for now. Need to swap bits over to a new motherboard as well as the card failure took out the MB

So we're showing off our mining explosions are we. Here's my quite similar one from a couple months back, some of you might remember me mention it at the time. It was an ebay.com card, but I eventually managed to get a replacement card from Gigabyte US under warranty which was cool.

It seems like those components there are often the point of failure.

Damn, took out your motherboard too, that sucks. My explosion only killed the PCIe slot it was in, but the rest still functioned.

Fortunately my mining partner had a spare 7950 in another computer and had a spare MB/CPU on hand just incase of this sort of thing. So it's back and running again. Handy considering LTC's climb atm.

Will look into getting the dead card replaced over the weekend.

How do mining pools work? I assume they charge a fee of some sort? Do they just take x amount of LTC found?

Anyone got any good pool reccomendations?

I'm on ltcrabbit, PPS so I get more out of it as a small miner I think. I will join litecoinpool.org after my next 7950 though. For my settings right, even at intensity 20 I only have 73 degrees. These frozr things are nuts.

That said, 4000 rpm fan speed ;)

I am unsure of my profitability on a different pool

what's the ROI on LTC right now? Say on an average mining rig worth $1000?

looking to get into trading, then perhaps mining at some point...
