I assume that's on 2 rigs? Doing any undervolting on them?

According to a GPU comparison s/sheet I saw they reckon 7850's only draw 130W! so they have a good hashrate per Watt

FWIW even tho the product page says otherwise the Asus 280X umart lists is the non top edition. Go off the model # as thats always correct, regardless what their info says.

After experiences with the Asus 270x Direct CU I will never be buying another Asus card.

    Gigabyte 270 - 410hash/sec
    Asus 270X - 350hash/sec

And yes the Gigabyte is not a 270x.

    Riser ribbon

Hey Guys, has anyone got a spare riser ribbon not being used that I could buy?

I have ordered 2 from an Australian Ebay guy, but he's been very slow to respond, so I don't know when I will receive the cable.
My new card should be arriving today or tomorrow, so I most likely wont be able to run it until I get the riser.

I can pay about $20 for one and pick it up around Melbourne to make it worth your while, and can offer a replacement for it, when mine arrive.
(I have also ordered some from china which will take approx 15-25 days)

If anyone has one and is happy to help it would be greatly appreciated.

7950 was Pengoz car di bought from here
7970 was last brand new card at umart Milton $380, seemed better then $320-340 second hand , considering I get full 3 year warranty from purchase time
280x from computer alliance $395 with Battlefield 4 coupon I might try and resell to reduce cost.
    mobo/ram/cpu umart eight mile plains

Man I did a lot of driving around this morning.

    setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
    setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
    cgminer.exe --scrypt -o pools -u users -p passwords -w 256 -g 2 -I 13 --thread-concurrency 8192 --gpu-engine 1100 --gpu-memclock 1500 --gpu-powertune +20 --gpu-fan 75

That's my first quick test and nets these

tweaking to be done once I get the other machine up and running with the old 7850's.

Currently sucking 1235w from the wall

    running the 2 rigs

    1 x 280x
    1x 7970
    1x 7950
    2 x 7850
    monitor

3150khs for 1235w = 2.54khs per w, seems reasonable before undervolting or tweaking anything.

Hardware errors was from me trying to raise Intensity over 13 on the 1 card to test, not a recurring thing.

So you are using the same settings for all 3 GPU's? Interesting as I would have thought that splitting the values with a comma would yield a better hash rate as you can fine tune each GPU.

It most certainly would BUT that requires time and effort both of which I am out of at the moment, they are hashing at a reasonable rate currently and I will leave them at that until I CBF fiddling with them.

R3s sorry to make you wait. Hopefully it was worth it.

He bought mine. Running a 280x (7870) and 7950 together doesn't work to good. With the 7950 removed I can now hash at 660khsec on a hot day or over 700 on a cool day with the 280x..

I ended up passing on the asus umart had as it wasn't the top version, so I'd be interested how r3s goes (can you undervolt? hash rate etc) with the non top version.

If not running the display off the 7950 you should be able to do 1.03v and intensity 20 on stock clocks.

Its interesting you can hash so well cosidering you have 7970s along with the 7950 in the rig. Looks like its a limitation of my motherboard?

    0: Gigabyte R270 OC
    1: Gigabyte R270 OC
    2: Asus R270x DirectCU II

    Still to be added.

    460W at the wall for 1.14Mh/s = 2.47h/kW

Was hoping for 400h/s+ from the 270X's, but they are troublesome.

Does the asus hash better when it is the only 1 installed?

Your better off with 7850's for half the initial outlay......

Fucken 500gb hdd I had is rooted , gotta use a 120gb ssd I can remove from my gam8ng rig to setup the last miner :/

I assume not if you were using I20?

They didnt like me using tc24000 for some reason.....
