Monthly cash outs would be the best way to go.

For Sapphire 280X VaporX owners(and others):

    I'm getting 730kH/sec stable.

Step 1: Download & install latest beta driver from AMD.

Step 2: Download & install v2.9 App SDK from AMD (2.8 is installed in the drivers which has poor performance on R9 cards).

Step 3: Download & install the memtool to confirm what vram you are running. https://www.dropbox.com/s/9de7jtptoqqccyf/Tahiti_GDDR5_Info.zip
    From: https://litecointalk.org/index.php?topic=12369.msg93754#msg93754

Step 4: Download & install the optimised vbios for your GPU & vram type here:https://litecointalk.org/index.php?topic=12369.msg93754#msg93754 (use search to find your gpu in my post).

Step 5: Download and install the modified cgminer client. http://k-dev.net/cgminer

Step 6: Using Trixx, MSI Afterburner or via VBE7 and reflashing set clocks and voltage to: 1060 core, 1500 memory and 1.118 for voltage.

Step 7: Use the following settings with cgminer.
    --scrypt --thread-concurrency 8193 -g 2 -I 13 --gpu-fan 65 --temp-overheat 85 --temp-target 71 --expiry 1 --scan-time 1 --queue 0 --no-submit-stale --lookup-gap 2 --gpu-powertune 1 --worksize 256

Anything lower and my display driver crashes. You can't run a really low volt if you only have one PC and your miner is your main pc. I'm lucky it can run well on i=13 so the PC is useable.

Card runs at over 1.20 stock so I'm not worried about undervolting it (runs cooler). Te power draw for the whole pc is approx 335w.

Curious, what are you using to make the card stand upright?

Card doesn't hash above 550 if I use anything other than a TC of 8193.

Trying to balance temps & volts thus why I have pushed to 1080.

Think he was referring to the pic above yours, which would be the PCB from the USB cabled version of a 1x to 16x riser

I pulled out $900 at the 1125 aud peak to cover my power cost, I also direct debit $100 a week so there is no huge shock when the bill arrives.

I have around 4k worth of coins at current rates left over.from 1.5 months mining so not too worried about power usage yet.

I will move some cards to my work pc when I go back, makes it run autocad better and.mine when its not.in use.

Well good news guys, I have successfully hacked the voltage regulator on the Gigabyte 7970's to undervolt to anything you want :)

I will do a write up shortly once I confirm its stability but I am currently feeding a 3.3v signal into the regulator as an offset for the main output voltage. Basically the regulator thinks it is over volted as a result and this is trimmed by a variable resistor to the desired vcore.

Voltages verified on the card itself so they are accurate and power usage is currently sitting at 225w - 610kh/s until I tweak it for the new clocks :)
