Started and ended our holiday in London. Despite being one of my favourite cities I took the least amount of photos for some reason. Probably from being so tired from jetlag at the start and tired from all the travelling at the end.

And also ended up with double the B&W shots after processing (I just process what I think works in Lightroom and move onto the next when I have this many photos to sort through).

I don't understand why so many people dislike London, I had always wanted to go there and it didnt dissapoint me.

    2. "what do you mean I can't take photos here? okay ill delete them". Too bad D600 has twin SD's that I have setup as dual write not as overflow

They look great, some iconic spots there too. What camera were you using?

    Thanks, took a Nikon D600 with a 24-70mm 2.8

I reckon it was borderline heavy for a travel camera (obviously better than a d3 which I took to France when I was there last) but I would have been annoyed with anything less like my s95 P&S, even if I just had a 50mm which a lot of people seem to suggest as a travel lens

Nice work. I like the black and white shots.

Your no.4 pic was at the Horse Guards Parade. It was the location of the London Olympics beach volleyball events.

Looks like you did a lot of walking... best way to get around in central London.
