Everything on the engine needs to be painted Dark Silver Aluminum
Out of curiosity I grabbed this Vertical GPU bracket to see how the GPU looks in front of the Enermax chassis. Hmmmmm
Nice work as always bill, I think the gpu looks good vertically.
This thing looks firking awesome, nice work, can't wait for the end result!
Thanks guys! Painted the engine and injector air scoop silver alum
My apologies for the lack of updates. I've had to start another project build for a client. Paying gigs keep the lights on, so Max will need to temporarily park the Falcon. I may bring it out and share a new update for mental break if time allows. I will be starting a worklog for this new build once the NDA is lifted, I think it will be a real spectacle once it's finished.
Kinda funny how the interceptor supercharger was in fact parts of a washing machine. I know the creator of the car. Fun facts.
Everything is shaping up amazingly, top level stuff!
any progress Bill
I hope to get back to this, I was pulled away to make this build, https://youtu.be/Mz6ozE1X62s?t=52
looks sweet as
Sorry for lack of updates, I had to pause progress so i could get the exodus pc finished in time for their launch and currently working build for DiRT Rally 2.0 giveaway. Once thats finished, I can hopefully (sigh) get back to this project. Personal projects always get halted so I can pay the bills.
I plan to get back on this Mad Max build, as it was supposed to replace my old shipping PC months ago
Here's another chance to win a build of mine, just announced today by Cooler Master, https://landing.coolermaster.com/computex2019/campaign/
I had to shelve progress on this build to get two other commissioned builds finished
metro exodus PC,
Dirt rally PC,
Took everything out last night to re-evaluate where I left off on this project. The last stage was mounting the EK reservoirs to emulate the rear fuel tanks in Max's Interceptor. I'm debating about making a roof line over the middle section of the case or hood with blower cut-out to cover the front. I know either would involve several hours of trial and error fitting. That time could be re-focused on progression of other thing on the build. That's a perfect example of being a victim to your own project scope creep.
those rear res tubes like that looks awesome. almost wish a few more case manufactures would implement it
Thats great to hear! Unfortunately I'm tied up with other commitments atm, but hope to get back to this build soon!
