    Hi guys,

I have been looking for some various UV filters and MaxSaver seems to be recommended in the forums here.

To those who have ordered from them how long has the postage taken?

I need to have the filters this Thursday for a shoot and from what i can see they do not offer an fast delivery option.

    Thanks in advance

If you need them that fast, either suck it up and pay for postage from BH or Adorama, or buy the filters locally. In fact, I'd say that buying them locally is the only option for Thursday; the best I'd expect from BH would be delivery on Thursday, and that's cutting it very fine.

I actually got maxsaver to send me some filters express post (I was going overseas). Cost about $5 more, but it got to me in 3 days.

I just emailed them and they were happy to upgrade me to express post.

I was looking at getting some things from them, asked abut express post and was told it would be USD22 for less than 500 grams

Hey, did you email them before or after you placed the order? ie, do they charge your card instantly at checkout or what?

No I placed the order, then realised it wouldn't be delivered to me in time (I was going overseas). I emailed them with my order number, and they said to just deposit the $8USD in their paypal account and it would be sent express. They emailed me numerous times confirming they got the money etc, so I was quite impressed with the service.

I probably emailed them an hour or so after placing the order.

Edit: It wasn't an option on their website either (can't just add it to your order yourself)

As an aside - they are now offering free international shipping on all orders.

My order was posted from HK 3 weeks ago, and still no sign of it. I emailed Maxsaver and they reminded me they don't control the postal times (thanks for that) and to be a bit more patient.
    Should I be worried?

    Yeah :upset:

You could lodge a customer complaint form via any post office , its a green single page form.

That may get it to move along a little faster, but pretty unlikely.

Its worth a shot if you have a spare 5 minutes.

Arrived today! Took a bit longer than expected, judging from other posts on this thread, but patience was never my strong suit.
