    To make matters worse, I think Maccas have just raised their prices.

    If I remember correctly, they used charge $6.75 for a large meal, now its something like $7.10 or $7.15.

    Ah, I remember the days when I could get an XL coke for $2.25...

    Now downgrading it is going to ruin it... Hurrah for TinyMac. mhmmm, $7.15 for a TinyMac Meal. How awesome.

    I remember the days when a big mac was $2.45.

    It costs $15 to get a decent feed at maccas these days.

    Watch that video

    Its a Burger King (HJ) experiment where they took away the Whopper from an outlet and recorded peoples reactions.

    Its almost not even meat...

    I admit guilt in eating McDonalds from time to time (once or twice a month)... I wish I had the will power to resist, its all so terrible...

    Re KFC - same... but alot less often than McDonals.

    The big mac isn't even changing size guys? It's just the quarter and products which share the bun (McChicken?). It has been a while since I've been to Maccas though

    well im sorta glad its getting smaller
    because as i get older the burgers are smaller to match my slower metabolism

    but in fact... lol it just means i can fit in that applie pie after the meal

    FTR: 4.5" -> 4" is 1.25mm, but it equates to 20% reduction in area

    Do they still do a family meal deal?

    Was the best thing back in the day....$10 each (between 2) and you get 2 big macs, 2 cheeseburgers, 4 fries and 4 drinks

    They have been smaller here in NZ for about a month or so now.. price dropped by 10c, I think the mcchicken is better now, found the bigger bun made it a bit dry.

    he he

    FTR 4.5" = 4.5*25.4 = 114.3mm
    4.0" = 4.0*25.4 = 101.6mm

    => Diffferene between 4.5" and 4" = 114.3-101.6 = 12.7mm

    'area' being key word. thats not even in terms of volume, in which the difference would be even more dramatic

    What the hell do you eat :Paranoid:
    it's like nearly 9 bucks for a medium grand angus, and that's probably too much.
    HJ's imo has the best value meals though.

    Why do these places have to fuck with everything people actually want? I love the mcfeast, I get one everytime I get back to Melbourne.

    It sounds like the menu is syncronising up with the overall menu, but it won't truly be syncd until you get beer, ham and rice. :)
