Heh, Sydney was also crap for me, maybe their server just sucks balls VooDoo?
Internode ADSL2+, around 2800m from Brighton exchange in Adelaide...

These results are a bit misleading as I was getting a solid 780kb/sec off Internode's usenet server this morning (700-800 is about normal for me), and uploading some photos at ~90kb/sec to my webspace.

I'm in the process of moving, on my current connection at my old place (Exetel 1500/256)

For some reason the ping is way high for the test, but seperate pings to netspace, optus, internode and telstra show an avg of 40ms.

I'm in melbourne but its showing my location as sydney because extel currently only has a single sydney PoP.

I'll do the test again on monday/tuesday when my Exetel ADSL2+ gets activated.

K-Optical 100mbps up/down (apparently)..... GOTTA love Japan. Also its about half the price of what I used to pay for 1.5mb/s ADSL in Aus.

Desktop shot from a couple of days ago. uTorrent 1.6 under Vista x64 Ultimate.

My upload is usually around 4-6mb/s too.

Notice the very top left of the screen.

How the hell are you only getting 8393kbit/s if you're 20m from the exchange?!?!

    I won't even bother "e-unzipping" here.
I live in northwest NSW, so speeds suck no matter what... Unless you spend thousands per month.
