    Funny how a radio interface is doing 10x the speed of an NBN connection

    This is on NBN Fixed Wifi 25/5 with Node right now, so peak time I guess. No one else on my road has signed up though, so it'll probably go to shit when they start threatening to cut the copper off and everyone jumps at once.

    Finally swapped routers to try make better use of our Gb Fibre:

    [IMG]

    That server is ~400KM away

    Still reckon we could get more out of it though.

    Oh yeah, this is about ~$90 a month for unlimited...

    I was hoping it'd be a bit faster, it's still just over double what my old ADSL2+ was though.

    I could probably squeeze a tinybit more if I ran a new line directly from the incoming point to the phone outlet where the modem is.

    Hi all, anything I can do to make my adsl faster?

    ============== Current ADSL2+ stats ===============
    Upstream Downstream
    Current Rate(kbps) 1023 16914
    Max Rate(kbps) 1251 17804
    SNR Margin(dB) 9 7.3
    Line Attenuation(dB) 14.2 22.5
    Errors(pkts) 5 18

    iiNet naked (on super fast mode), ~800m from the exchange, speed test is 10-12 mbit on a good day

    Modem: TP Link Archer D9 (dhcp off) -> pfSense firewall -> back to Archer D9 for wireless and wired clients.

    PIA VPN enabled for a range of wired IPs, get similar speedtests results.
