    very much so, the game is geared towards tactical/stealth play.
    it's very apparent that the other elements of the game not associated with tactical play is tacked on as though it was an after thought.

    like the support chopper, kit it up for support runs and it'll cost you dearly to be picked up if you want to return to the aerial command center... why ?! why would you implement such a cost just to leave the area of play ?

    Realistic skin breathing, air ballooning, unlimited weight carrying, skull faced, bipedal war robot toting, flying whale inferno featuring combat.

    10/10 military combat simulation

    Yeah my bond with her is still pretty low so she doesn't pick up all the hostiles in the area unlike D-dog. Mother base expansions are my main problem atm- never enough fuel to afford the next expansions....

    Yeah usually more unprocessed resources.... Although some areas you'll need black hole Fulton...
    At the cap for base expansion so all my unit especially r and d are capped. Arrgh so tired of rbolt action tranq sniper rifles.

    not just containers but anti air guns, jeeps, trucks, even the small one manned MG walkers when you "rescue" emmerich....who oddly sounds like his son Hal Emmerich!

    you can sell the vehicles for money or let your combat unit use them for their missions.

    I got up to that mission (16) which required you to either fulton or drive off in that truck...realised I missed saving the transportation specialist in mission 10, which is required for that upgrade

    Went back and replayed 10 to get him...made that mission so much easier.

    ah was wondering what the point of stealing mortars etc was, I havent progressed far enough to have people do missions for me.

    i capture them and sell them for GMP....the selling prices for the emplacements are plenty enough to cover the cost of the fulton extraction. same goes for animals the rewards cover the extraction costs.

    vehicles like jeeps and trucks can be captured and called if in needed or your soldiers can use them on missions.

    i've noticed that lower skilled soldiers will be dismissed if higher skilled soldiers are found and captured so i've been capturing people with B skills (or higher) in any field.

    Stealing emplacements puts them at your motherbase for your soldiers to use during multiplayer raids on your mother base.

    ...as well as being able to sell them for GMP.

    Man, this game is so addictive.

    I picked up Fifa on Saturday, and played it for 2 games.. Then i wanted to get back into MGSV. Without spoiling it for the guys who havnt finished the game, how many "main" story missions are there?

    Ive finished the Sechalantrapaous (or whatever the fuck it is) mission, and am upto the last find the children sideop. When does the last "story" mission finsh? Since it seems theres alot of replay levels (Like extreme, total stealth etc) missions that arnt storyline, or are they?

    There's 50. You'll know storyline ones if there's gaps in the number sequence, where you haven't fulfilled the requirements to get them for play.

    Same, now it makes sense!

    I've done missions 1 to 4, and about 5 side missions. I kept replaying #4 yesterday and got all objectives achieved. Fulton has been upgraded once and only done 1x mortar and 1x gun placement but had turn it off the put the kids to bed. They love watching it too which helps so I can play more.

    50 ?!? Bloody hell...I'm something like 50-60hrs in and only just finished mission 27 :). I'm starting to think this game is just a little too long

    After mission 21 I think it was (The one where they invade mother base); the game forces you to build one before it lets you continue on
