Well 4pm here is officially 15th February 12am EST
Looks like it'll be in the "same treatment as the previous metro release" basket for me. 1440P @ max is seeing mid 40s. I'm not really in a hurry. I'll rebuild a new beefier rig in two years time or more and enjoy ME when I'm ready.
So you've been able to download and install?
Download is up finally.
Hopefully Epic's servers can handle the load.....
Have to say the launch experience has been very underwhelming thus far; not having the product launch time being region specific ( eg 00:01 on the 15th, for a given country) seems like massive oversight.
hehe downloading 25% so far
Nah, not even going to try at this point mainly due to time and if my rig is not going to give me 90fps+ @ 1440p I'll give it a miss.
i mean, i kind of get that, but it is not as though 60 FPS is choppy.....
I have a similar spec'd rig to your, I'll let you know how it goes tonight.
165+fps on ultra at 1440p in the underground, haven't ventured out yet so obviously be lower there
Is that with RTX and DLSS?
Apparently the benchmark is very very stressful compared to general gameplay. Can anyone
Also there are weird restrictions with enabling DLSS at certain resolutions/combinations?
No RTX and DLSS was off. Tested with RTX Ultra/DLSS On sits at just over 100fps indoors, RTX Ultra/DLSS off around 80fps.
Would be interested in the dropoff for RTX outdoors, particularly when inside a building but looking outside a window or door and vice/versa. The engine seems to have weird divisions in how it handles RTX.
Excellent 1440p and 2080Ti as well. Just about to launch it for the first time. Been wanting this game since it was announced, here goes.
2070 @ 1080p with Ultra settings + RTX on and DLSS off is giving between 100+ fps in doors and between 60 - 90fps out doors.....DLSS is shit! it make the image blurred and looks like low res craaaap!
Luckily I have a 1440p and 1080p monitor and can change out depending on game.
Just watching more 1440p Ultra gameplay with 1080ti cards and looks like 80-90fps outdoors and up to 140fps indoors. That meets my threshold.
So I'm getting between 80 and a 100 fps outodoors, in the "winter world".
I hold some concerns for the forest level, as this is where my fps tanked in the benchmark.
Advanced physics off
16 GB ram
Win 10/latest nvida drivers
Last Game vs New Game
All round improvement to the series!
Larger areas allow for more tactical play and add that with the new improved gun mod system means great stealth sections.
Still has plenty of tight dark creepy sections too.
