Microsoft is releasing two foldable devices with hinges instead of flexible screens.

They look great. More importantly, they look very practical.

Makes more sense than using a plastic screen with a crease in the middle, worse for viewing wide format content but better for actual work

It feels like Microsoft have taken over the creative and Ingenuity that Apple had in the 2000s.

Their surface products changed how people use laptops/portable PCs, now this will be another major change in handhelds and maybe breath some life back into tablets.

Might not be a new idea but possibly the first time it's done right.

Its a decade overdue (and runs android) but i guess technology had to catch up a little.

Oh - and it's advertisement gets +2 stars for using a great Etta James song - but -3 stars for being aimed at ladies who lunch and generally naff.

and that cover shot is weird... only a hand model could hold something and make it look so unatural

Apple has been stagnant for years. Microsoft really broke out with the Surface series, and they've been the leading industry innovators ever since.

    *edit*

Ouch, that advert is wanky as hell.

The Neo runs windows, not android.

I can't see the Duo really doing well. It'll be for road warriors, and that's about it, and it will live or die depending on how android handles the dual screens and multitasking.

I’ll be buying duo, as long as it handles office365 outlook and chrome browser well, it would be a keeper for me.

id presume all non updated apps will run one screen only, if so, not that much of draw back.

any word on real specs? I would presume it would have to match the note10 and bigger battery.
