Think it will be tied to your geforce account like destiny 2.

nope, you just have to have a qualifying product installed (GTX1080 or ti), then GFE enters the game into your steam account

the first was was fun at first, then it was just a repeat of the same fun over and over and over.. batman with orcs essentially.

Second however looks pretty epic but with all the paid content, nope.. its a 'Wait for sale' as ACG would say..

I played the first one after getting it on sale and loved it. Looks like we wait till this one is $10 in a steam fire sale too.

Seems decent, be keen to see how it runs on pc.

Haven't watched a proper review like ACG yet though.

Its already been proven that they are not required, and I read that it is almost like it was tacked on the side

should be a big button somewhere to turn them off, but you know if you dangle that carrot weak willed people will cave - and that's what they are counting on.

    Perhaps.

Not that I am condoning microtransactions in games, especially single player ones, but I can understand why the game developers are pushing them. As you said, weak willed people will pay the money.

The time I believe this works, is if the game is improved and added to after release.

I think a bigger issue is DLC content, as it seems more and more you are paying $100 for half a game

In saying all that, I did preorder SoW, and will be off to pick it up today :)

The bigger issue, is people not cancelling pre-ordered games. giving validation for bad business practices.

I cancelled my pre-order when I first heard about the loot boxes.

I'll buy this when it hits $10 in a steam sale.

to me and many others this is the right way to deal with the loot box fiasco in every game - you see loot boxes, do not buy.

    Started playing last night

Its pretty good so far, similar enough as the first game, but with alot more stuff

for those people who are worried about the loot boxes, I dont think its an issue

you can buy them with in game money, and from what I have seen they only give you Orcs for your army, and abilities for those Orcs. I havent gotten to that part of the game, but if its anything like the first, it will be easy enough to "collect" Orcs as you go
