Dudes, I was looking to buy a 512GB Note 9 for my missus for christmas but they seem to have been discontinued, is it worth chasing a 512? Or just take a deal on a 128?

    :)

Maybe just with Telstra then? Telstra support said its discontinued due to lack of demand and JB HiFi said they cant get any either.

Are they just low stock from Samsung due to demand ?

    :)

I was at two JB outlets near my house and work and they had plenty of 512GB note's in stock.

Just got back from HP SC as they replaced my iPhone 7 plus free of charge and I had a look at Samsung phones, plenty of note 512gb in stock.

An LG V30+ is now under the Christmas tree. I'm way overdue for a phone upgrade.

You are a fucking fool if you believe the mindless drones that infest Telstra support. They don’t know their ass from their elbow

Thanks bro, they work there not me, so I expect them to know more about the subject than myself.

So now can you contribute the what I asked? Is it worth chasing a 512? Or take the deal on a 128 ($69/m with 80GB cap)?

    :)

It's the same phone, more storage capacity and comes at a higher premium. Ask yourself if your missus needs the above and the extra expense for more storage then you'll have your answer.

It has more ram too I believe but 6GB should be heaps anyway.

I think the $69 deal is pretty good.

Unless you are looking to store heaps of media (music, videos, etc) - you don't really need 512gb. I'd assume most of the stuff is streamed as well, making the need for huge amounts of storage even smaller.

The extra ram shouldn't really make a difference, Android has pretty good ram management these days.

I need a new phone and was hoping I could double it up to use with a drone rather than buying a phone + iPad mini 4 or Crystal Sky etc.

Can anyone recommend me a phone or tablet that will work without issue on a DJI Mavic 2 and have a very bright screen? I can't find screen brightness info anywhere :(

That is pretty cheap but I dont have the spare cash for outright, so I need a contract.

Any suggestions for a tight arse android phone, needs to be either unlocked, or easily unlocked, as it's for someone overseas. Hoping to get away with less than $50(I'd buya cheapie second hand, but can't see any for sale, and not sure I trust a Gummie or Fleabay sale with cheapie Android phones).

    Z...
