Realme 3 Pro looks like it could be a great deal: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/477243
no NFC though.
I have an iPhone 7 128GB at the moment which is great, but I don't like the idea of spending $1200+ on a replacement XR or XS if it were to break.
I have had stock android tablets in the past but no phones. Would love a phone that'll save me some money from buying Apple, and will fit the following requirements:
- Performance equal to or greater than iPhone 7.
- Decent battery life
- Medium size (no larger phones please)
- Headphones jack (hate that new phones don't have these anymore)
- Stock android or as close to as possible. No OPPOs or Samsungs.
I've looked at the Zenfone 6 which seems interesting, but pricey in Australia for a 128GB model. Also looked at the Pixel 3A which looks quite good too. Thoughts?
I'm looking at moving from iOS to Android.
I currently have the iPhone XR + Apple Watch Series 3 42m.
I'm looking at an equivalent set up (power wise) in the Android world. What can you guys recommend?
Hey buddy welcome to the dark side!
AS far as replacements go, I would be looking at the Pixel 3, it will give you a vanilla android experience which IMO is the best way to use it. Can go the XL or regular depending on how big you like your phone.
Not really a smart watch guy, but i believe the Samsung Galaxy smart watches are the best ones about for Android.
Awesome bud! I’ll check it out. Much appreciated.
checkout the OnePlus 7 Pro too, beast of a device.
Any thoughts on the Galaxy A70? Going to replace the old S7 as the battery is finally crapping out but have no use for a new $1000+ phone. I don't like the idea of the rotating camera on the A80 and have no experience with the non Samsung phones since the old LG 4XHD.
Out of the A series I reckon the A50 is the sweet spot especially if you can snag one used for under $350 or so. A70 is getting a bit close to the price of a used S10 and makes too many compromises for the price (plastic construction, crappier cameras, less powerful chipset).
Yeah bought one the other day, not bad.
Now if you really want the best for cheaper......
Now you cannot tell me all phones are the same. You squeeze this thing to turn it on. It has 2 headphone jacks, 6000mh batt, accessories to make my eyes water. ASUS. From all phone manufactures seems to be the only one doing anything interesting. Please if you can handle a large device give ASUS some money and save some for yourself.
