Hi just wanted to know if Crysis is still the most graphically intense game. Since I use it to compare my systems performance as a benchmark.
But it was released a few years ago so hopefully theres something more intense.
Im after a game which stresses the GPU and improves the graphical detail accordingly.

    Cheers.

ArmaII tends to sort the men from the boys......
Not the prettiest game in the world - but getting above 40fps is a like conducting a mission from god!

I have played a bit of Arma 2 and imo it doesnt look as good as crysis

although I do agree it pushes the system I dont think it pushes the system as much

looking for an FPS game but thanks for the input

I dont have any DX11 hardware, atm its just DX10

i'd still say crysis is the best looking game, and it still has low enough framerates to provide good definition

strange that, even though it's getting on in years now.

thats why I was thinking there would be something new, hopefully crysis 2 pushes systems a bit although it doesnt look like it will thanks to console gamers.:thumbdn:

i believe that metro 2033 is the laggiest though

it doesn't look THAT good, but damn does it lag.. for no apparent reason.

yeah I googled it and the graphics arent good enough with respect to framerates in reviews. So in that respect I still prefer crysis.

in terms of best looking i still beleive crysis is, but in terms of pushing the system there might be other games out there that can push the gpu's harder.

    Crysis.

Arma 2 pushes systems because its an unoptimized buggy piece of shit.

+1 lol, you wouldnt belive the crap I went through to get it working

I disagree, I run GTA4 forced max details and my computer doesnt lag, its very CPU dependant.

Crysis however does lag on my PC

    1920x1080 btw

Metro. Punishes your system, but looks absolutely gorgeous for it.

This, though it's probably overkill for comparing systems as no current hardware can get it to perform acceptably.

Brings my 5850 Crossfire to its knees

Looks better than Crysis with everything on its highest setting (IMO)
