http://www.motorola.com/Consumers/U...bile-Phones/DROID-RAZR-MAXX-by-MOTOROLA-US-EN anyone spotted it in Aus yet? Razr stylishness + 3300 mAh battery = win
Motorola Droid RAZR Maxx review Downsides - Display problems still exist, Will run 2.3 for a long time and call quality in question.
the original droid razr is now selling as low as $459+shipping, guess the maxx will make the original redundant hence the price cutting.
apparently not but since its the same phone as the razr with a bigger battery it shouldnt be a problem to make a gsm 3g one
I've waited for so long I've already bought a HTC One X, and I have to say it's battery is shit house. Probably would only last 3 hours of gaming if I'm fking lucky. It doesn't look like this Razr Maxx is ever going to come to AU.
Buy a notebook or a desktop which is more suited to gaming . To expect a mobile phone to have 8+ hours of life when gaming is well retarded .
Is 4 or 5 hrs reasonable? It can surf the web and play videos for 4 and 5 hrs respectively according to some reports i read online, however thus far, I've never heard of any of them talk about how long the HTC One X would last for with gaming. FYI, I'm not that bored, I never played 3 hrs of angry bird straight. But I lost like over 10% of my battery life after like 15 mins of angry bird.
Look here guys! Out of stock, but might be able to get it here when stock comes back. http://www.mobicity.com.au/motorola-razr-maxx.html VERY interested in this phone. Decent sized screen with AMOLED, dual core and amazing batt life is what i want in a phone atm. A more decent price and dev community will defiantely make me buy this phone.
if only they brought it out earlier... its last years tech now against onex/s3, and moto STILL havent released ICS for razr
Don't buy it yet. Rumour has it that Moto will be releasing a new RAZR called the RAZR HD within a week or so. Some leaks indicate that it has the same battery as the RAZR Maxx, but also ICS, a 720p screen and a quad core processor.
$639 + shipping. This year's top of the line phone price for last year's top of the range phone. That phone has much to love about, but it's not going to be an easy sell. Even a SGS3 goes for about $700 + GST shipping.
Nice! With all that spec tho, would the same size battery be enough? Knowing nothing about power consumption of modern day SOC's, aint that all that bound to suck more juice? Time to monitor eBay in half a years time to pick off the suckers who bought this phone at full RRP
If it's the same size battery, that will still make it over 50% bigger than either the SGS3 or the One X so it'd still have a big advantage in that regard
