    OMG yes! Best game ever!

Hopefully it has some kind of persistent character progression

Needs more info than that video. No point having any emotions based on that. All I hope for is a better game, more polish and less bugs. MP for campaign would be good to.

Exactly... I don't even know why they announce games with teasers, completely pointless. I guess we might be able to take one thing from it, the model, it might look a lot better :/

Assuming that is ingame? it's just something they've spat out for promo purposes. Six months from now we might get some half decent stuff to start making judgements, though in all seriousness it will be an improvement on previous M&B games. No way they could go backwards on such an early and indy style concept when more moeny is thrown at it. Give it at least one or two more iterations before that happens.

    Devblogs are coming out now.

    http://www.taleworlds.com/en/Games/Bannerlord/Blog/3

They're explicitly stating their intentions to make this easily moddable. Since they don't have a license to make it into A Song of Ice and Fire (game of thrones) this is the next best thing.

This is one of very few games I'd consider buying on release at RRP. It's not another FPS, nor generic strategy.

Yeah, still haven’t forgotten. The memories of the original is too strong, in a positive way.

holly fuck has it really been that long since it was announced.
feels like it wasn't that long ago.

Gave it a flog for a few hours. Really doesn't look that much different from the original.

The combat is basic and feels stupidly slow. All foot classes regardless of weapon and armour choice, move at near exact same speed. Which means a fully armoured, broadsword swinging dickless wonder can chase an archer.

Balance is completely fucked (This is a multiplayer test afterall), if you get enough spawn points within the first minute, you'll dominate the rest of the match on a horse. After all this time, I'm surprised that it looks and plays almost exactly like the original except with multiplayer.

Is 15 years the longest someone has waited for a sequel to a game to come out

As a super diehard fan who's been hanging for this for almost half his existence, i am fucking LOVING captain mode multiplayer, haven't even touched single player, man i hope they polish this game up and it gets an Aussie community, clan wars would be epiiiiccc

Can't believe its finally been released. Loved the first two. Am going to hold off due to having enough games to play at the moment, hoping the final bits of polish will go on over the next couple of months, then I'll pick it up, and most likely get completely addicted again.
