A re-edit of a shot from August last year captured at Mount Rainier National Park:
Incredible Sunset is a good description.
Absolutely Amazing. Stunning. Wow!
Doesn't get much better than that. Great stuff.
That is amazing.
Give us a wallpaper sized version! 1920x1080
I saw this last year and now again and it's amazing!! stunning capture and editing
Fantastic photo. Wish I had made it to Mt Rainier when I was in Washington.
Haha sorry guys, can't sell any prints if I'm giving out HD files
What a shame, you'll have to go back! Extremely beautiful place, one of my best ever hikes up there too. Here's a taste, you can make out the tiny trail just up the back there. The flowers in those meadows were spectacular. Everywhere else was dying off but they were in their prime up here:
That was just handheld and practically no editing. Such a stunning place, and so peaceful.
Yeah maybe one day. We did Glacier National Park instead and that was just as stunning, just not as green. We went in Sep/Oct so was quite overcast and photo opportunities were scarce.
Yeah Glacier is amazing. So many photo opps. That time of the year is hit or miss. You can get some really cool conditions with the storms and that but also as you said, it can be really cloudy.
I'm actually moving over to Banff late this year, then more permanently to the US (Portland) late next year. Can't wait!
Jeeze thats just epic
You'll love it - I live in Seattle, WA (moved from Adelaide) and we love going to the National Parks. Portland has a whole range of beautiful places.
If you can - get up to Olympic National Park. Places like the Hoh rain forrest, hall of mosses, are spectacular.
Love the pics of Mt Rainier - was the day time shot near Sunrise? We've been up a few times with the kids + to Paradise for the snow play area.
One of the best sunset pics I have seen.
Jealous! There's no other place I'd want to live in the world more than the PNW. I haven't been along the coast yet, only the mountains, so I definitely have to hit that up when I'm there next (November).
It was early morning, a couple hours after sunrise I'd say. Here's another:
woah earth porn.
