From what I've gathered it depends on how you sleeve. If you want to do every wire individually then you will need more than one pack. What I plan to do is do the PSU wires in pairs. You will use half as much that way and I think the effect will still be pretty good. Depends on your budget I guess.

Seems like a pretty good deal, pretty close to getting free postage if you compare it to buying directly from the states... I think glen is going to receive a pallet load of orders.

TBH doing them in pairs won't look THAT good because you won't get the heatshrink to go very tight into the plugs, so you will see wires at the ends. Not so pretty.

I was going to cut a small piece out from between each pin on the connector. That way the shrink will go into the connector and look nice and clean.

Another idea I had was to sleave the connector end individually. But the PSU end as a whole. The join will be behind the mobo tray (or side panel) so you wont be able to see it. Plus you wont get the MASSIVE, well, mass of cables at the PSU which often requires a mod tothe PSU to fit them all in.

Can you get a pack in any colour? can you get a pack with sleeving in one colour but the shrink in another?

If you do that lionman the shrink will split. You can't cut it lengthways.

Nah, I mean cut (or file or whatever) the connector itself to allow two wires to go past the edge... as long as the pins can't touch there shouldn't be a problem.

I had a HX-1000 that blew up and I didn't even touch the sleeving...

I don't want that to happen again, nearly started a fire!

So can you get a psychopack with red sleeve and black shrink?

No you can't lol, you'd have to buy the red sleeving and black heatshrink separate.

OK, I need Frantic and retrobot to contact me ASAP, you have paid the old price for the Psychopack, so you need to either add in some more sleeving, or I will refund the additional money. Please EMAIL me!

That goes for everyone, EMAIL me please, don't PM me.

It's gonna be hard enough keeping track of these orders, without having to check two different places. :) Thanks!

well i do want to sleeve each individual wire just for the look. im not sure though what excatcly comes in one of the packs? if i need to get 2 packs to get this done im just not gonna bother because i can't justify spending that much just on sleeving, even though it does look that good.

I did each individually at the atx connector side, and then did 4-5 of those bundled into larger bundles so i didn't have to mod the psu entry hole :)

Edit: Ignore the cable colour showing through, dark room + flash, and i didn't stretch the sleeving out as much as i could have. It's black to the eye in natural light.
