Right now, you don't understand how much I am hating all your landscape/travel photography. I'm just so jealous of you all! I can't wait to get out of Perth. The countdown is on!!! :D

Great photo mate! Can't wait to see the final results. :)

for the first pic, i'd like to see something in the photo that gives us an idea of the size of the mountain. maybe a lone person or something similar...

^Damn Everist looks so surreal, it actually looks like you've photochoppd it in due to the size/atmosphere differences. Definitely nice to have the comparison by using foreground though. And the monk looks aaancient in number 2.

I did the EBC trek last year, its 18 days trekking for those of you who were asking. Im waiting to go back, such an awesome part of the world, you have some great photos there mate, cant wait to see the rest of the collection.

im trying to work out which peaks you've photographed, namche is damn green, was looking quite yellow (almost aussie) while i was there.

and guys trying to get a sense of scale is pointless, looking back at my photos i get no sense of what its like:

    eg:

Everest (the black mountain on the left is 9km away as the crow flies, 3km vertically higher that the vantage point of this photo, and the mountain on the right is 1km lower than Everest.

    Amazing.
I was in Nepal last year (amongst many other places), beautiful place.
I didnt have time to get fully into the trekking but i cant wait to go back and hit EBC...
I was there about week before that plane to Lukla went down, i took the scenic flight from the same airport with the same airline in the same type of plane...
Wont stop me from going back though....

If you get a chance i fully recomend EBC, one of the best experiences of my life, even though i came down with altitude sickness at 5000m (lobuche for those that know).

I flew into lukla with Yeti Airlines into Lukla in a Twin Otter (same type of plane, airline etc) but would quite happily repeat, freak accident i say.

I went with Peregrine travel, excellent sherpas, really good experience recommend 100%.
