My heavily modded Sega Game Gear

    About a month ago I picked up a modded Game Gear from an ebay seller in the U.S.

    It's had its old LCD screen replaced, new caps and a video out mod to allow me to playback the games on an external monitor

    The only (minor) issue I have with it is that the games no longer run in full screen mode but i have been told if i use an everdrive cart a lot of the ROM's have been modded to take GGBios out and dropped in SMSbios which will fix this issue

    Since i have absolutely no idea what sms bios is (I assume sega master system) or how it works I might have to take a leap of faith and try this

    Something about playing something non emulated. Love it!

    non-emulated is the best if you can, it's more than the content it's the feel of the controller, the sound of everything. Just can't be matched via emulation.

    That's why I still have all my old consoles and Amiga's :thumbup:

    What I love about this project is controller and console in one on a big screen :leet:

    Nice mod, now if you get one of the tv tuners you could have av in and out!
