    Hey all,

I recently purchased a TEAM 2.5" Combo SATA Solid State Disk (SSD).

I mainly chose this one as it has a mini usb connection integrated for flexibility.

SSD's are pretty new and I havn't seen many benchmarking results on them.

So here is a benchmark on my TEAM 2.5" Combo SATA Solid State Disk (SSD), using ATTO.

    The back of the box...

    ATTO Disk Benchmark:

As you can see, my Read speeds well exceed to advertised 140mb read on the ATTO Benchmark from 64kb+. 140-166mb Read.

Also the advertised write speed of 90mb are exceeded in the ATTO Benchmark at 64kb+ ranging from 90-100mb.

I am very happy with this SSD, using it as my OS disk.

The only negative's that I have noticed concerning the TEAM 2.5" Combo SATA Solid State Disk (SSD), is that during music playback I can experience digital glitch skips sometimes.

I have not noticed the digital glitch skipping in audio or video in playback of movies though.

Besides that, its smokin' fast, couldnt live without it.

All comments, thoughts, questions are welcome :D

Noice! Thanks for sharing :) How much?

Do these suffer from simultaneous read/write issues?

It was 234$ for 64GB from MSY.

Definitely expensive as a storage solution, thats why I purchased this in order to be my OS Disk upgrade, and then connect all my previous 4x WD 750GB as storage.

I have not noticed any multiple reading/writing issues watsoever, & I have done a few reformats, constant music and movie backing up & other smaller document files.

I will soon test moving a large amount of movie files on and back off the disk to see if I can notice anything. (for eg. 4 groups of 4GB worth of movie files at once.)

If you have any other suggestions to test/play around with, please do.

How is it during multitasking? Can you play movies, play music, surf the net and extract rar files at once?

    @ zaim,

I am constantly watching movies/listening to music, while surfing the net while online messenger.

    Also installing app's inbetween also.

I have certainly not noticed any sluggishness while multi-tasking.

P.S. Im in the process of posting up the HDT benchmarks.

fkn brilliant!!! i personally have no ssd multitasking experience besides the bullshit 6gb ssd's that came with the aspire one netbooks, and they were shite!

so ssd's are the bomb huh.... i was considering selling my sas setup and getting 2 intel ssd's and raiding them.. wonder if its still worth the change over

    @ zaim,

Do you have any idea what the spec's were meant to be for the 6GB SSD in your aspire netbook ?

Yes I can tell you im very happy with this TEAM SSD so far and ive owned it for a few months, applications load many seconds faster, installations seem much zipper etc...

Check this SSD Raid setup out --->>> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=96dWOEa4Djs

    HDT Benchmark results.

Please NOTE I could not perform any "write" benchmarks, due to the program being "trial versions".

So here are the "read" benchmarks.

I had this one and it most certainly does suffer from the stuttering problems. Although you can alleviate that by applying a "fix".

I picked it up for about $225 at MSY a while back, looks like it went up in price slightly since then.
