    Gday I’m looking for a pre built gaming pc (monitor not included) for $2000 aud. I need it to be as powerful as possible (obviously) and I’m more of a intel person.

    Prebuilt as in, you pay $100 for a shop to build you your parts list? Or as in an OEM like HP?

    What monitor do you have?

    Also don't you have a thread for this?

    Unfortunately I have never dealt with Techfast, I never use prebuilt as I always pick my components for builds of my own or my family members.

    But speaking from a value perspective this is probably one of the best prebuilt you can get right now and considering you are sticking with Intel, and the only thing I will concerned is the SSD brand and the Allied PSU (Allied is a fine PSU OEM just not sure about the spec of the PSU in the prebuilt) .

    Given the number of positive votes and lack of negs I'd be pretty comfortable buying from them.

    Techfast support is good, their build/qc is a bit meh, and if you pick upgrades to better quality products then the value is no longer there. As long as you're aware of exactly what you're getting (bottom of the range everything except for CPU and GPU) then they're fine.

    Bayden ... this.

    There are quite a few PC stores in Perth, so I'd be going to or calling one with your desired parts list and get them to build it for you. The direction you're going will yield a decent gaming PC, but you may pay a little more than you should and as others have mentioned some of the parts may not be overly desirable.

    I can't vouch for these listed places, but it seems there are plenty to choose from;

    When I lived in Perth PLE was my go to place. I see they have expanded to victoria so if you ever move interstate at least you have one shop on the east coast if you ever need it.

    I have also used Austin and Arrow, I got my first GPU a 3DFX Voodoo Banshee from Arrow's Osborne park store back in the day. Any one remember Rusty Gates??
