Hi all, Looking to upgrade the memory on my setup. I currently using a 10900k with asus maximus extreme xii. I currently have Corsair Vengance 32gb 3200mhz (CMK32GX4M4B3200C16W), but looking to move this along and go back to 64GB mem. Can you please help me, I am looking at around 4000+ mhz with better timings. Your help would be greatly apprecaited. Cheers
I don't think it's likely to run 64GB at 4000MHz, since they're all going to be dual rank 16Gb ICs. I would be expecting mid-3000s with that much RAM. edit: Above is not 100% correct. Your best bet is to get sticks with 16Gb Micron Rev. B as they'll be single rank and OC really well. Your next best option would be dual rank B-die but good luck running that at 4000MHz.
G skill 4000 cl15 if you can find them. Best ram you can get. https://www.pccasegear.com/products/52026/g-skill-trident-z-rgb-32gb-4x8gb-4000mhz-cl15-ddr4
On Intel , can do 4800 CL14 @ 1T . AMD is a bit slower but you get the idea with this G Skill RAM laptop resolution check
I have a pair of these 2x16Gb coming in next week, they are rated for 3800 c14 and are B-Die, so should get 4000+ with a bit of tweaking. Igor's Lab was able to get up to 4700Mhz on them with a 10900K system and a ASUS Maximus XII Apex motherboard. F4-3800C14D-32GTZN-G.SKILL International Enterprise Co., Ltd. I'm going to use them with Zen3 however, so sticking to 3800 for 1:1 infinity cache most likely. Not cheap either, you could buy two kits to make 64Gb but that would leave a hole in your wallet! Not sure where to get them in Australia, I'm in Europe and am still waiting on my order.
