Hi everyone, I've been using this card for about 6 months now and recently experienced artifact (cross-check white boxes) and screen lock down when I play games. It's fine if I put the clock back to default but would prefer it functions as said on msi's specification. Bought from umart but I would prefer to RMA my card with msi. I have already got RCA number but not sure which post service should I go with. Can anyone share their experience and recommend an option for sending the card please? I'm thinking about using Registered Post or AAE but welcome any other suggestion.
Sorry to hear that - if you want to PM me your details ill let our courier organise pickup for your card.
Good god, that's just beyond the kind of response that I would ever expect. and wish I was genetically mutated to give you more thumbs. PM sent mate, will let everyone know how it turns out so people can + more rep.
Well awaiting the resolution before any thumbs up to the rep but baseline response looks very promising!
I had to rma a gtx580 last month. Snt it via aust post with registered. Got a new card with a week. Great service.
Where is it posted to? How many years is MSI warranty on mobos and graphic cards? Considering purchasing MSI graphics cards from now on, already own an MSI mobo.
Nice work there rep. Is Agg able to give him a title if he's an official rep? I like the idea of reps assisting us rather than just churning out spam. Keep it up firewizard. I'll definitely consider your MSI products in the future.
It's up to your fan settings mate, but at 100% fan speed it's a leaf blower I ran mine at stock most of the time too because whenever it's on OC mode (768clock) it started playing up and all kind of errors throw up. Just RMA now since I have the time to do so and in preparation for BF3. Agree with garido, should have him a bit of title to distinguish. To be honest when I saw his response I first thought it was a troll attempt. then I had to went on and checked his thread and post. Turns out the real deal
Good to see another rep here, better yet one that is willing to help out. I have an MSI card, and will definately look toward MSI in the future with such service
UPDATE Got courier came over today to pick up defective card, the rest is pretty much usual RMA process but will update regardless. Big thumb up for firewizard. PS: Also recommended my mate yesterday to buy MSI graphic card
