    Holy shit.
Long scopes and red dots and shorties, oh my!

Is that an actual carbon-fibre barrel on the S.A.B.A.R., or is it an over-wrap for cosmetic purposes?

"Creme de la creme"... *chef's kiss*
The size of the gas bottle on that gave me some merry lols.
The built-in holders for the Allen wrenches on the stock is a really simple but awesome feature.
Looks like an aluminium barrel on that one?

Apologies if I'm rehashing stuff that's already been asked or posted about.
Pretty cool to see how paintball/gel tech has been folded in to the nerf modding world, though I've never had a proper go at either of the former.

VDC Admin. Spectre and Alpha recommended Digitowl and I recognised a few of the prints.

He makes brass barrels with a protective alu sleeving. Very nice.

It's just a cover, but sets the build off.

The creme is an arduino controlled HPA blaster. Semi, auto, burst, rate of fire and so on. So far only one exists... for now.

Sabar V2 - Bolt action. One of my favourite prints to date. Going to do one for ourselves soon prior to offering them for sale.

Other two are the Lynx. Pump action springers.. good for near 300fps with the right spring. They're the hot topic at the moment.

Is that the victorian dart club? I think one of our Lynx prints is getting around down there.

I'll have to thank Liam (again), for recommending us around the place. :)

This would probably lead to a catastrophic ending for my wallet if I didn't already have about half a dozen other projects in mind that I haven't even really started yet.
Arduino-controlled, semi/auto/burst/adjustable RoF... exactly what I wanted to do with the stampede back in the day but I was just going to start with a super-simple adjustable monostable 555 timer circuit.
Kinda makes me wish I had stuck at it and followed through into what might be possible using micros with feedback inputs. Great to see people exploring this.

The Lynx pump-action looks really nice with the alu guide rails/op rods. Light and strong.
As are the ones that DangerMaus posted with the front grip.

I'm going to leave this thread for the time being before I start getting any "big ideas". :D

How much would I be looking at for one of those?
Absolutely no point atm given the lockdowns, but it would be good to get back into a hobby which actually requires me to socialise with other people to fully enjoy it.
As opposed to just noodling around inside or tinkering with stuff out on the porch. Trying to avoid that inward spiral, y'know.

I've no idea who designed the modified one, so I can't even look into printing rights... but the Orion original we print in PETG for $150 or PLA for $120, then you source your own hardware kit directly from Orion... for now. We're piecing together our own kits so we can do full builds. Been a bit of a road finding some of it.. The plunger tube is only available from one place in aus.

Worker "Nightingale" 3s flywheel mag in grip half dart blaster. I've painted the grip and trigger guard white and added a district 9 decal. It is a really fun blaster out of the box. 100-120fps with a quick trigger pull which equates to 10-15m effective range. If you let it rev up a little it's effective out to 20+

Not as noisy as Brad suggests IMO. Merlin motors are much louder IMO. It's mostly motor noise, little wheel wobble or shell vibration

I wonder if it's legal to import?

I've also seen some that are the John Wick 3 pistol, the TTI STI 2011 as a dart gun.

Yes they are completely legal to import. I got that one from OS and my second one locally. There are currently two Australian retailers selling them. Blastertech and Blaster Haven.

    Maybe in QLD.

These made it in without issues but they're shipped without the pistol grip like a few other blasters.

    These also made it in.

Those are both legal Australia wide. They're both kinda shit though.
