    Hey people,

well last night I went to the kmart toy sale and picked up 3 Nerf Recon CS6's and an automatic tommy 20. They are all awesome :) wish Australia would sell the full range of Nerf Guns that are available in America.

    anyone else like nerf guns?

lol. The vulcan...hope that comes to Aus :p haha. Looks awesome

I modded my automatic tommy slightly. Took off the muzzle thing cos the bullets kept getting jammed in there. Also, one of the motors was not spinning as fast as the other causing the bullets to fly off more to the left. The spinning thing on the motor was rubbing against something so I tried to bend it a bit to stop it from rubbing. now it works pretty good :)

I to have a maverick imported from the US, but more importantly i saw a whole heap of NERF at toys r us the other day including mavericks. Pretty sure they weren't there 6 months ago so maybe times are changing?

I got my maverick at Toy's R us in times square NY. I've been hanging out for the Longshot, it costs too much to have it shipped from the US. Is the recon much different from the longshot or is it the same thing?

they're very similar. Longshot has the extra gun/barrel extension, bipods, bolt action, scope where the recon has the flip up site, barrelextension, light, and a similar loading system. I read that the longshot has better "modding" potential though. The nerf streamline bullets are not great though. They arc in the air in different directions cos they're very light. Still a great gun though :)

so what guns did they have at Toys R Us ?

got my maverick at target/toys R us probly half a year ago last year.

Long shot! my mate got one.. it sucks in terms of range. Loading, shooting etc is fun and it looks ok but wait for the vulcon or get the raipd fire 20 . ten times more fun.

Just got the recon CS-6 last night

damn they look nice :) shoots well too

i'm thinking of modding it though. a cocker handle for the slide, and maybe a proper LED light + LED laser for the "aiming module"

and much much much much more darts and mags

for those importing, where and how did you import them?

Imported my Longshot from the US. Cost around $100 including Shipping. Picked up a few CS-6's on Saturday. Great gun and alot better than the Long shot. Though the Longshot looks awesome.

Still waiting on the Vulcan. Still way to expensive to get imported for the shops that do have it.
