Just saw this fly past on Twitter. Such a casual way for Nintendo to announce it.

Good on them for bringing it back. Let's hope they've changed their mind as to it's short-term appearance, and keep it a long running product. Even if there are shortages, at least people will know they can expect stock at some point.

    Edit:

Pretty interesting to see Nintendo acknowledging the eBay vultures directly. Not something they'd normally do. Maybe they've finally realised they're letting profits slip through their fingers.

they were leaving so much money on the table, end of the day they'd have to answer to their shareholders I'd say who are probably asking - why are we not selling these to our loyal customers?

Im amazed they have survived this long with their littany of historical poor business decisions...

Sega frustrate me too. There's clearly a market for retro remakes and they license some third world half baked electronics factory (ATGames) to make half cooked versions of the mega drive.

the current retro remake bonanza is and I've said this already not the norm. it's only blown up in the last few short years. clone consoles have existed for a long time now.

Yep third party retro knock off consoles have been around for donkeys years, but unfortunately most aren't worth mentioning:(

The one I saw at eb the other day is the cartridge capable version. But yea, would be better if sega actually did it.
