Origin will give you Need for Speed series and Star Wars (new versions). Not much comes up free, except via Epic Games occasionally.

Uplay will give you Far Cry series and Assassin's Creed series. Sometimes gives away AC series (I have half a dozen of that series and haven't paid for one yet!)

Origin is also good for Battlefield.

Download Playnite and link all your launchers in it. The launchers still have to load when you click play but it will give you a good looking game library from all the different launchers :)

Forgot about Playnite! I found GOG easier to navigate personally but it's a very strong competitor.

GOG was alright. It was a bit difficult to find settings etc but I don't think you can beat the view with Playnite.

Honestly getting any of these front ends is a great idea for simplicity. If you try one and don't like it, try a different one!

And don't pay full price for games on steam!
Buy the games on special or from places like humble bundle or fanatical etc

    The titles we don't play!
Steamdb.info is also a great site to see price history on games in steam

A.K.A. the wall of shame

Just had a look at Playnite again, and I would agree it's easier to set up. It's been about 2 years since I used it and it seems much more streamlined now. Looks to be the same interface.

    xboxforpc will be easiest.

10 years ago everyone in this thread would recommend steam. Everyone on steam today have a wall of shame.

You also get a free game every Friday on the Epic Store

Make your friends' eyes bleed by over-customizing your steam profile. You can't do that with other game launchers / platforms.

I almost always use https://isthereanydeal.com/ to check prices. Gives you a good view across stores.

Damn that's a lot of games, does it provide stats on how many hours have been on each game?

I think this is the top user's wall of shame on steam, 23000+ games https://steamcommunity.com/id/augsfix/

Stats on hours can be misleading as some people idle games to farm steam cards.
