I'll let the pictures do the talking
Price? (10 char)
Cost me just under $600AUD delivered for one transmitter and two receivers. About what a set of PocketWizards would be close to costing - but I can do high-speed sync and all my adjustments at the camera on the fly.
It'd be cool to fire a flash at 300+m, but really, would I ever use it...
I'm undecided on these things..
They look decent enough, wait and see what you can come up with i guess!
Get cracking with 'em tangcla
Haven't really been following the poppers but build looks good.
So the receiver just pumps out the correct IR signals to the slaves then?
Kewwl will be interested to see how they go for you
Nah I don't think these are IR.. operate similar to pocket wizards I believe
(without checking the site so sorry if I'm wrong)
They have a massive range like PWs.
i think it is radio signal from trigger 'popper to slave 'popper and then the slave 'popper sends the IR signal to the flash to alter the power settings.
Does it do ETT-L?
Ahh yes, I'm currently talking to these guys about AU action. Units look good though!
f@rmboy is jealous. Pocket Wizzards are great for triggering speedlites but lack for sending ettl info (580EXII excluded)
Bought something new and want to share? Post it here.
*grumbles* goes back to Gadget Infinity triggers
what do you mean by 580ex II excluded
pocket wizards doesn't send ETTL/iTTL information. When using pocket wizards, everything has to be in manual
I thought they didnt' send overseas?
Rather than having to plug the PW into a 3rd party hotshoe the 580EXII has a pc port that the PW plugs into directly. F@rmboy is of the belief that this allows ettl info to be transmitted. F@rmboy does not have a 580EXII (yet) so he can't confirm it.
yeah...i know PW's don't send TTL info, i was wondering about the 580ex II excluded part
I think these almost warranty their own thread.
f@rmboy takes it all back. PW don't send any info other than switching.
I've never had the patience to read a manual but thanks anyhow Munkiboy
