A couple more from my November trip - I've been slack!

Not completely happy with the pano. The sunset was truly spectacular.

    Outstanding!

Second shot would have been soooo much better without the cones imo, but what can you do : )

Sigma 10-20mm - pretty much the only lens I have ever used since getting my DSLR  (Stays on 10mm almost permanently). Colours were amazing in person, and then exaggerated by the Cokin's - I actually toned down the redness.

I have it on flickr. Although I don't really update it - my photos are there as a last resort back up / hotlinking facility. http://www.flickr.com/scoletts

Some nice shots you've got there. I'll be heading over to NZ in April/May.

Have you got any shots closer to the water?

Not really sorry. I was generally intoxicated well before sunset whilst in Queenstown  Here is one by the lake from our first night there (didn't have a chance to scope out vantage points)

No secrets! Canon 550D with 10-20mm and perhaps 2 of the harder Cokin ND Grads stacked, hand held at @ 10mm

Mmm. I have some longer exposures with the 10 stopper, however I did not like the results. In fact I've rarely liked what my 10 stop has given me which is disappointing as I was so excited to get it :thumbdn:

I like them but I'd be tempted to put a bit more work into them in PS and try and get rid of the stacked cokin tinge.

Works for the 4th one you posted by not so much with the first couple.

Is it a road or a race track or what in the Photos? Looks awesome.

Not a photographer, but very nice shots
