It went on my FB feed immediately although I suspect it will fall on mostly blind eyes.

    As long as it's not a 4X game, I want a proper sci-fi game that's not one.

Looks awesome but how much content and depth can they create in a game with only 4 people working on it?

Otherwise the concept is something I've been anticipating for a very long time.

Well content generation is arguable the most resource intensive parts of any game project, so in theory they can save a lot of manpower from going procedural.

What is Joe Danger? The press keeps mentioning it as if we should know about it. I looked it up and looks like an iOS game.

Arcadey side scrolling motorbike stunt/racing game. Pretty fun but nothing like this game.

That's where procedural tech comes in. Provided there are sufficient assets and variations to the game to not feel like playing the same thing over and over. AKA recycled rooms in Dragon Age 2.

I'm assuming the procedural tech is more to do with the exploration side of things.

Actual items, interactivity & character customization is where the depth of the game will be tested.

similar to Trials on the XBOX 360 / Pc - Joe Danger is a fun side scrolling motorbike / physics game - was huge on PS3, released a month or two back (Joe Danger 2) on the PC, from memory.

I saw this last night, and my god it looks really promising! Absolutely beautiful! The vivid colours remind me of mirrors edge, one my my favourite games, visually speaking.
