Better to have an overlord than a benevolent dictator?

Agg's at work. Ironically he's the one person who doesn't post on OCAU whilst being so.

I still check in at WP occasionally. My advice is given succinctly, once per thread unless otherwise asked, and I daren't look at it again for there is a select group of stupids who llike to deride (not that I'm completely innocent of that, but only in retaliation. Not that that makes it any better...)

Much prefer to hang out here.

It's better to just use the knowledge there than to participate in it.

YMMV. I do find generally they are quite knowledgeable and there are some good answers to questions. Sometimes a bit of fluff to get through but that's ok.

It's early, but this is already a contender for most ironic post of the year.

The cat's head in your avatar is downside-up. Just FYI.

Yes in basic ways, but no in other ways. WP had a larger audience and as such they have actual subforums for what we have single threads jammed into other subforums. For example they have subforums for topics like solar. At best OCAU has two or three ongoing threads. WP has a subforum for pay TV, we have maybe one single Foxtel thread, and other threads (netflix, Disney+, Stan, etc) scattered around mostly in the TV forum. Both places have value in their own ways.

Bit of a twisted pussy then it seems...

True... but there is only a flush button on one of them. ;)
