$900 - pretty high launch price, isn't it? I recognise this is a flagship phone, but still...

    It is around $816 - $830

Places are either giving the camera grip or charging plate and cover

Search for "steam center". You can find it on facebook and it has its own site. It's a third party app and can be a little buggy, but it does work :)

Telstra reporting delays due to a software bug. Not clear if its a Telstra only issue or what the deal is.

    Hopefully not...

Bit the bullet. Preordered and now waiting with baited breath. I wish the white was in stock.
Only thing I'm worried about is the memory size considering the camera is 42mp :Paranoid:

Yeah, Telstra only. But free Lumia 520s to everyone that pre-ordered from them.

    Came from a 920 -> 925 -> now a 1020.

Amazing improvement in the camera department which is a given.

I absolutely love Nokia pro camera, those manual settings are great fun!

Noticed the screen vs my 925 has very different colour saturation even when displaying the same photo hmmm...

so is this a grey import ? The warranty first says it is from Unique Mobiles which indicates it is a grey import but further it states Manufacturer warranty. Very ambiguous wording

Get the latest Nokia Lumia 1020 with 2 years warranty from Unique Mobiles online.
Network Lock Unlocked Warranty 24 Months Manufacturer

If only this phone had used android, it'd sell so well.

Camera is a work of art

That'd take some of the shine off it, IMHO.

I had the same upgrade path.
    Full WP upgrade path:
    HTC Mozart > Nokia Lumia 900 > 920 > 925 > 1020

I didn't notice much difference in the saturation. Have you tried playing with the Display settings?

after reading some reviews and checking sample photo and video, i am dead-set tempted to switch to WP8 to get this baby. any tips for an android person who is afraid of losing the nice stuff android has that WP8 doesn't (seem to) have?

See em at national parks all the time:rolleyes: Surely there has to be a camera that has inbuilt facebook uploads and wanky instagram borders effects :D

The missus wants the new iphone but I told her to stick with the 800 for few more months and then get her a 1020
