    Looks like a great product.

Always loved Nokia's willingness to try bold design. Really handsome phones.

Oh Nokia! Such a gorgeous phone, why didn't you go with Android instead?

Never mind. It'll still make the iPhone 5 look like a Fisher Price toy.

Damn good looking. WP8 is starting to look attractive as all hell.

Late October, early November, couldn't come soon enough.

I want to jump aboard WP8, but I am NOT a fan of the design at all. Looks like an iPod Nano, blergh.

Then this might be more up your alley:

But dang! Nokia! Very nice looking phone! + Wireless charging I'm sold!

I finally convinced my boss that we should try Winodws phone instead of Android phones, because they go out of sales so fast (android) and we are starting to end up with so many diff models, where as users will get a much more consistent UI exp with Windows phone.

I got a Lumina 800 today to try out and am very impressed. I hacked an old HTC desire? model and put wp7.0 on it, and while good, the hardware was trash and obviously not designed for the OS. We also had another HTC with 7.0 on it but I found it a little buggy.. But 7.5 seems very nice indeed. Just such a nice UI! So clean and organised. Polar opposite to android!

Do you think the compromise between suppose build quality and weight is worth it here? Lumia 920 is 185g vs SIII 133g, which is a big heavy phone already.

Yes the samsung is plastic, but I am starting to warm to the idea that plastic is actually more durable, since when you drop it it acts as more a shock absorber.

For me the slight extra weight is worth it. The S3 is a VERY light phone. If it's anything like the 800 it will be tough..

lumias are heads and shoulders, above and beyond galaxies when it comes to build quality and feel, both in software and hardware. they're the iphone for people who don't want an iphone. well built and reliable.

Yes, more than worth it. I wish phone makers weren't so obsessed with making phones ever thinner and ever lighter - some of us want phones that feel solid and have good battery life.

Don't forget the Lumia's also plastic (polycarbonate).

None whatsoever, judging by how insanely hard it's been to hack the Lumia 800. The security model for WP8 looks even tougher to crack.

I love my Lumia 800; but with WP8 and some of those features I think I may be looking at an early upgrade!

I'd be leaning towards the Lumia 820 though, I think those rounded-edges look a lot more slick.

you can put android on the N9, which is the same hardware as the lumia 800.

no idea why you'd want to though.

The Lumia is also plastic, but it's a higher quality polymer and it utilises a front loading uni-body design.

The SGS3 uses a poor quality injection moulded and coated plastic.
