Yeah that's cheap. They buy packs of 100 off eBay etc. , probably works out to 50c per.

I don't know whether to go one of those or get a Zagg for example.

Ah i see, even the Zagg for the front screen is $15.
I can't complain with this one that I got fitted. Is it really going to be any better?

    Thats what I'm wondering.

The Zagg is obviously a more technical material, but whether its worth it.

I'm using a gadgetshields full body protector. It's a wet apply akin to zagg/bodyguardz/bestskinsforever, but a good deal cheaper. From photos, looks to have less of an orange peel effect than zagg, about the same as the bodyguardz I put on my ES7s.

The screen protector part itself is great. Rather good fit, about 1mm off on the sides, and about 1.5mm off on top and bottom, though I somehow put it on right at the bottom edge so looks more off.
The body protect part, not so much a fan of, couple parts too many and the "seam" doesn't feel as nice as naked. Fits quite well though.

gahhh! Hate matte/anti-glare screen protectors. To each their own...

    boooo! :p
    Did you order it yesterday?

My cradle still hasn't shipped, seems they're waiting on the wireless stand I ordered with it. Been a week now...1-3 days(for stock, that is) my butt.

Fair enough, i prefer the other type but this one has disguised any scratches on the screen luckily.

My phone gets so hot using it in the sun that it actually becomes too hot to hold onto.

For those that have had this phone for a while now. Given the option would you buy it again or something else? I am thinking of picking one up tomorrow and would love to hear some user feedback. My current phone is a Desire HD.

I came from Desire HD. Liking WP8 more than Android. This is the best WP8 phone.

Pretty happy with it. Looks like new update out soon will fix most issues. Would love more camera control though.

Hey guys, anyone else agree when I say Nokia Drive sucks!
I was excited to have a good GPS because everyone says Nokia have the best. But Nokia drive or Nokia Maps shows me the longest and worst ways possible to go anywhere.
I can't seem to select alternate routes also as they aren't suggested.

I am taking relos to 12 apostles today in port Campbell and it tells me to go through ballarat from the south east suburbs to get there. That's over 4 hours
Where I could go through Geelong and cut at least an hour off that time.
Not the first time either I always get crap routes suggested by this app

On thing I've noticed, at least with Google Maps, is that it's designed for American roads and tries to avoid left-hand turns. Which means a) you end up making right-hand turns, which can be painful in some places, and b) it so zealously tries to stick to this rule you end up going via the most convoluted route possible.

Would not surprise me if this is the same for Drive (Europe-based, so that's right-side-of-the-road driving too.)

In the past 2 years I've gone from

    Desire HD
    Blackberry Bold 9780
    Iphone 4 - iphone 4s
    Nokia 920

I'd say W8 wins hans down... Given that I'm not "App" dependent nor do I like playing around with firmware/jailbraking etc it suits me well.. <3 the tiles.

Coming back to the Iphone 4 (Spare phone) I'm suprised how small it is compared to the nokia haha

How is the comparison between the 920 and the 820 ?

I like the idea of the 920, but that means I have to wait until my contract is up to make the switch to Telstra

to be fair ive never used a 920. only an 820. 820's a good size though, around the same size as my 900.
