Heading to Andorra at the end of my working trip around early March.

Haven't had many dealings with the area, so I'm hoping it is going to be ok. I was a bit disappointed with Switzerland, it was a bit of a shitty season.

Nice bud, I'm headed to Niseko for 10 days on Feb 23rd, then 5 day gap and 4 days before I fly back to Aus at Rusutsu.

Just curious, how'd you get it to $3k including flights?

I'm at $3k now, without taking into account spending money / 5 day gap of travel (rail pass etc) to south islands.

I've heard Chamonix is really awful - pricey and crowded. What made you choose there?

I feel like we've had this conversation before, where you recommend HOFNAR and I say I'm staying in a friend's studio flat but someone from work went with HOFNAR and said they were great too :D

I've never been to Chamonix but as I understand it it requires a lot of bus catching to and from areas/lifts. Probably not the best introduction if you're genuinely a snow noob but also will probably be fine too.

Yes i think we have had this discussion

morzine there is some bus catching if the snow is low and the homebound run can take a long time depending on lift queues

Ok, so while starting to pack my gear for EU13 my dog grabbed my Carrera goggles and demolished the foam around the edges.

Has anyone had to get foam replaced before? Is it worth it? Or should I start looking for new goggles?

I doubt it would be worth it to replace the foam, just grab a new pair off the net!

Is it just me or do you have a much bigger angle on the rear binding?

What's everyone's favourite online store for ski gear? Chasing a helmet, given that it's gonna be about the same cost to buy one as it is to hire a few times...

Something similar to this one, but perhaps in white, as I'm possibly getting some reflective tape to stick on it

One more month before hitting Colorado. Few months there, then Whistler and then back to Tahoe perhaps for Spring/end of season.

Doesn't bother me, will probably suss out which size/model locally, then buy online, depending on the price.

Used this setup this year at Perisher:

But the board is ancient (Salomon Forecast, about 10 years) and the edges are a mess. So I've got an F2 Speedster GTS waiting for me in Vancouver, before I take it up to Whistler. Can not wait.
