Control the best looking game ever made imho.

"A game we'll be talking about for generations"
"There's really nothing quite like Control"
"I wish Remedy could make even more games"

good videos, might watch as a refresher, it's been a long time since I started using 3D Studio MAX R3 :D

As you mentioned, even if you have GPU that can handle fully ray traced game @4k 120fps, you can always "crank the slider to the right" and go from 4K 120fps to 0fps :lol::lol:

lol.. Gigabyte cards are fine imo, it's only the RTX2080Ti Windforce model cos it's got the smallest heatsink out of all 2080Ti cards(230+% smaller than Lightning Z).
I think Windforce models are still fine on 2060-2070 etc but def not on 2080Ti.

My 2080 ti just died :(
I was playing quake, game froze with a black screen and it made a loud buzz and shot a little bit of that stinky smoke out the fan.
Now I can't pick a resolution over 800x600 and it was artifacting in the windows loading screen.

It is a Asus Dual 2080 TI, I think it might be power related judging by the noise it made when it died. I have no idea what ram it is I don't have the patience to open gpuz at 800x600 it's impossible haha. I already sent off an email asking how to go about warranty its only like 5 months old.

I haven't been using it for much at the moment so the 1050ti will do me for a few weeks. I am just shocked it died I have never had a gpu die on me naturally in my life.
