Just took the plunge
An early xmas present for myself
This is great for nVidia. AMD's 290X release has increased sales for them.
Very close to pulling the pin on an evga from ncix.
549 + 68 = $617 Canadian dollars = about $625 Australian, sound right?
Anyone have any idea how long shipping will take?
within the week usually.
If you buy from NCIX don't use Paypal they rape with the exchange rate.
The reference 780 i ordered with express postage (7 bucks more than standard so i got it) was ~645
Not complaining too much though, references are hard to find now (i want it to match my current reference) + the games = awesome deal
I ordered a classy last night and just got shipping confirmation
When I add it to my cart and click on International Checkout, it goes straight to Paypal??
Maybe you can't avoid it for international.
I picked up a reference model from msy last week brand new for $649. Maybe I got lucky.
Wait you can order from NCIX?
yup if you were to choose currently i bet many would still nab a 780 over the 290x purely for acoustics and heat.
Every time i go in there they never have any reference cards
Unless they are hiding.
Apparently they are all sold out of all reference cards now, dont think they will be getting any more in either.
Ill buy a second 780 off here now.
Loving these price drops, my 780's are on their way
The Cheltenham one?
EDIT: Also, where are the price drops for Australia?
Nah dude the one at clayton, the cheltenham store seems to never have anything.
I dont really buy from msy unless its really cheap, hate dealing with them.
As someone currently using an ATI 5850, are the 700 series (mostly the 760 or 770) quieter than the middle range current ATI cards? Thinking the 7950 - R9 780X.
Most of the reviews I have been reading suggest that the 700 series cards have alot lower power draw as well, which I would assume leads to lower temps and quieter cooling, but wanted to know from experience how people had found them.
Yeah as usually we get ripped off!
Just wondering what the implications are if you order overseas?
i.e. with warranty?
No one drops the price of the parts they have in stock, you dont really think nvidia is going to send a load of money back up the supply chain to reimburse dealers who bought at the old price?
Old stock sells....new stock has new price.
Except when prices go up, they are raised right there and then.
