Looks bad, plays great. I've got this "ugly" card and am now able to play Arma 3 @ 2560 x 1440 with most everything maxed. It was a slide show on my old pc with a gtx470. Whenever I quit out of the game GPU-Z reports it is running at 1156mhz (I've left it stock, so this is from the factory). I do appreciate that many people want the aesthetics (which is fair enough), but I just want performance, as nobody see's my pc's innards except me and maybe the cat.

Had mine on the weekend, It's been going great guns as well. There was coil whine on it for maybe half hour yesterday though, went away on its own.

goes great guns at 2560x1600 for Bioshock Infinite.

If you overclock your CPU to 4.0ghz they wont be bottlenecked, I got z68 and 4.5ghz 2600k and its fine.

Yeh man I was going to put it on OCAU for $600 instant but it got removed as it was new. I think as mine was essentially new it went for so much.

    why?

I'd imagine a 3570 oc'd to 4.2ghz is pretty close to the 2600k, and I'm CPU bottlenecked in a few games still. Sure, not going to be necked in say...Metro, but Total War, Starcraft, possibly Skyrim...CPU bound games unfortunately.

I highly doubt that.. what is happening to make you think your CPU is bottlenecking GPU's?

Depends on the game. CPU frequency makes almost no difference to games like BF4.

I run my 2600k @4.7 on air on a Asus p8z68 deluxe with 16gb ram@2133 so this will not bottleneck at all?

It's an 8x slot isn't it? Wouldn't that hamper the card?
