Doesn't that contradict your warranty logic for a used card? Heh
I give the 1080ti far less value, but no go for me.
4+ year old card, most likely heavily used esp considering it's from the mining generation.
No RTX, a new galaxy rtx2070 super is better.

    Deviating from topic...
Nvidia is just balling, perfect time to launch as no completion, huge demand!

lol went to bed last night; my EVGA 3080 FTW3 had an ETA of 9/11. Just got up now because I can't sleep and refreshed the page and boom, already blown out to the 12/11

Why would anyone spend 1200 on a 3070 when for the same price you can get a 3080?

Yeah that's a fair point but I've had a 3080 on pre-order since launch night and have had no update on stock. I also don't have access to the internet at work so I can't sit and refresh for drops like most others here and on Whirlpool can.

Though maybe I have been a bit trigger-happy...:Paranoid: has anyone cancelled with BPC Tech before?

Nice to see they're all sold out cuz it can only mean less demand for all the top tier cards going forward. Unless they're all collectors like the people there who buy 4 of each haha

When does mwave do their raffle draw thing? I'm only interested in a 3070 at RRP.

I dont know why anyone is surprised with 3070 retail pricing of $1000-1200 when 3080s were/are $1300-1700.

You gotta factor $100-200 for every card at the theiving distributors. They are borderline criminal but its the hand we are dealt.

Double the US price, add some cream and you've got current gen AUD pricing. You've got a raffles chance at getting a card in that 800-900$ mark.

Watchdogs is decimating my 3080 at 1440p UW with everything on ultra. <20fps at parts, 30fps average in the open world.

It's a mess at the moment having just launched but still.

10-15% is pretty normal for distribution margins. I'd say they are taking more than that while there is hype and shortage, but it also wouldn't surprise me if the retailers are taking fattened margins as well.

So many reasons to wait this out. Premature release, fattened pricing, lack of stock, competitive offerings, lack of water blocks, and CP2077 delayed again.

Just takes a bit of discipline.

Gross what rubbish.. Just looked up with dlss on performance mode and no rtx and a 2080ti can't even hold 60fps at 1440p. Won't be touching.

Something weird on your end. I'm on a 3080 at 3840x1600 and getting much better frames than that with everything on max except DLSS on Balanced.

Some games are really demanding... is it playable if lower the settings to result same fps as 3080 with a 3070? But right after all considering the price difference only few hundred bucks i would get a 3080 too if in stock. The question is more difference in price between 3080 and 3090
