Glad prices are coming down. Saw a deal just now Facebook market place 3070 + r9 5900x for $2,200 . Not bad considering 1 months back the card alone was $2300

The fonts really don't work well with each other. I get that the GEFORCE RTX style is set by Nvidia, but the SUPRIM is too close to it and weirdly offset in height, then the random little stripes seem abit messy.

FTW design is definitely one of the nicest. I'd say nicer than my Aorus Xtreme - though I've got a screen!

Yeah the suprim logo looks weird but everything else is nice.

I like the Aorus chungus design, it's one of my favourites, sharp box like angles, a thicc brick like appearance, punctuated with a meme screen! Magnificent.

But for real I do like them.

FTW got roasted at the start but everyone has come around and loves em some hooker lips, the goth variety or the flirty red, they're both nice.

I haven't bought a GPU for 4? years... I now need one for work (a lot of photogrammetry and machine learning). It's a business expense and I heard that prices are little higher... mind you the last card I bought was a 1070GTX. So I go and look on Scorptec at the 3080 and 3090. FUCK ME.

Ok even though it's a business expense, $3.9k for a graphics card? What the flying fuck. I mean I get that something like a TR Pro 3995 is a niche product and thus expensive, but a video card? I might as well go for a Quadro RTX at that price, this is ridiculous.

I get that globally most advanced economies have devalued currency by over 50% (they've printed twice the M2 money supply in existence in the last 2 years) .. of which most has been going to billionaires - however I doubt they're the ones buying up all the 3090s...

That looks even more compact than the FTW (length wise). Don't love the look though, if I'm honest.

The FTW cooler performs pretty well too for air, including the backplate, but I still rip all that shit off and put a water block on as soon as I can. Single slot FTRW!

I don't understand half of that, but let me tell you the real problem - miners. If you see someone in the street with a hardhat and flashlight make sure you sucker punch them right in the crypto wallet.

Prices might continue to fall with LHR RTX 3080s coming in the next month or two.

Nah the FTW is much more compact, the Suprim is actually pretty huge.
