not advertising, for if i was, i'd use the for sale section. however, i have a this year (2020) evga ftw 2080ti as my current gpu. almost certain i will get 3090 in october. i assume there will be some good brands (asus/evga) by then and in stock. i assume aud will be over 2500 so that should keep most kids with dreams here away. (i'm a kid too, but i have the means to get beans!)

tldr; i will (and if i get banned for wanting a specific price, instead of just loled at, so be it) list mine --with 2.5 years warranty-- for around $1250. just saying....

Yep, it was an absolute scam. In the timeframe of two seconds between refreshes, the button went from "Notify Me" to "Out of Stock" on the Nvidia website and "Coming Soon" to "Sold Out" on the BestBuy website. I anticipated that I'd likely miss out during the checkout process, but clearly that was being optimistic. The only people with Founder's Editions are reviewers and BestBuy employees (or family and friends of said employees).

Any idea when the EVGA hydrocopper version of the 3080 or 3090 is out?
And if there's any other waterblock versions of cards?
Having a hard time figuring out which cards use the reference PCB, and once figured out hard to get.

Also lazy to block my own gpu etc

Man o man, what a night.
Still can't believe I was able to snag a card for $1225 delivered. I have been telling myself all week that, 1. There won't be an opportunity to buy and 2. If there are cards, they'll be expensive.
What a pleasant turn of events.
I've never known the feeling of owning the most powerful GPU out (until next week). Feels good.

Thinking of cancelling my Computer Alliance Asus TUF card. It's bad enough at $1399 at other stores but CA charged $1695. That's a ridiculous markup.

Looks like I was late, only ended up ordering the 3080 FTW3 for 1229 with discount, EVGA cards are the only ones without markup...

Exactly why I didn't hit buy with CA. Would have been nice to likely walk in and pick up a card but not at that price. Was the first site I actually saw stock too.

Me too. Going to cancel my other order @ 1500.
I wonder how long it will take them to get stock.

Unless you really don't like the design. If you dont mind waiting. Why would anyone buy anything else?

Ftw3 almost $200 cheaper than the tuf lol. And that's before you start looking at other stores prices.

God bless evga and God bless ple.

The Zotac for $1099 at PLE is enticing. Cheaper than FE. It's via PLE trade prices.

I think PLE? Mentioned that had very limited stock of Asus, Gigabyte and EVGA cards in their warehouse. Everything else was still on the way.

PLE had the the most expensive and cheapest I saw last night on their Ebay store. $1750 ish for a gigabyte gaming OC and $1316 for a Zotac Trinity.

Looking unlikely the 3070 will be $1200 if people got 3080's just over that at launch.
