Its safe to say 750W its not an ideal configuration for sure. But people should be able to get by as not many loads tax every system resource simultaneously.

Ill be using my Antec HCP1000 Platinum which has been complete overkill for many years.

I love how this generation is Nvidia annihilating itself. It's a meme in itself.

I'm certainly an outlier and it wasn't a fully serious reply. I have a 1000W power supply because it's single rail so it has overhead for overclocking instead of maxing out on an overclock for the CPU rail while the GPU rails are almost idle (or vice versa).

I think 750W in total is enough for a normal setup with an RTX3090 such as an i9 10900K (300ish watts at most).

umm pretty sure that is BS as the NVIDIA AU website has the founders cards listed...?

If I have to use my freight forwarder then so beit, honestly it will probably be cheaper than Australian price gouging retailers regardless.

I don't want bloody AIB cards ffs, water blocks will be non existent and I hate their quality issues.

Ah fuck I wanted 3090 FE...i even signed up for one....this is bullshite... I may now consider waiting for AMDs cards to launch & if they have something as good/better than RTX3080 at a sensible price Nvidia cant get stuffed.

If Nvidia dont want our money lets hope AMD do!

Already went AMD for my latest cpu after being Intel based for some years so maybe an AMD GPU will be a positive change too.

Yeah the US nvidia site is set up slightly differently from the Aussie one...

Theirs still has “starting at $X”, same release dates obviously and the notify buttons but then it also has Founder’s Edition stated with specific prices (not just “starting from”) listed.

    This might be true...

Edit: took me so long to make the post PureFire beat me lol

So now I need to pick which of the AIB cards is the least ugly and hope it doesnt have $300-$500 added to the price . Most look like ass IMO

Ordering from the US is asking for a warranty migraine.

Well fuck. After looking at the monstrous sizing of the strix and the like the FE card was looking like my best hope to squeeze into an itx case.
