Does sound great 3080 on paper is fantastic. 3070 sounds even better if you don't wanna fork out half a used 2010 Nissan Micra and still out perform a 2080ti

well,I guess we will have to wait for independent reviews, as even digital foundry benchmarks were all with RTX and DLSS enabled

I would like to see benchmarks with RTX and DLSS disabled too.

Also 3090 Founders price is same as what I've paid for 2080Ti Trio-X. Assuming the AIB cards like the 3090 Trio-X will be hitting 3k AUD mark

Pleasantly surprised on the pricing set by nvidia, I was hoping for a sub $1k 3070 but thought I might have been dreaming. The 3080 looks too good to pass up at this point honestly and will be a worthy upgrade from my 1080ti. If it lasts another 2 generations then that's an easy purchase for me. Keen for some independent reviews and a buy now button :leet:

    Buy both :)

Surely there is a reason for this. If the rumors are true AMD will have card that will compete with 3070 tier, bet that is the reason for this kind of pricing. If they could they would set the prices as high as possible.

So a 3090 is the new titan? Normally titans don't have AIBs and only sold by nvidia initially?

So 2080ti upgrade is 3080? But less vram?

Yeah it's also pretty unnatural for my 1080ti to only have depreciated 25% in three years :)

That's impressive. Based on the 3080 testing done already, it looks to be about a 20 - 30% performance increase over a 2080Ti. Can only imagine what a 3090 will give - probably in the 50 - 70% range.

Looks like I try and pick up a 2080ti for super cheap. I need the extra VRAM and cant really justify the 3090.

I can't see many 3090's being on peoples shopping list - It was kind strange that They are labeling the 3080 as the Flagship, and all the focus is really on it. 3090 was brought out of the oven like a bit of a novelty , with the BFGpu monkier.. It's price is also just too ridiculous in comparison to the 3080, which has reset the bar, I did say I think this had to happen , thank god it did.

Only bad thing is for 2080ti owners haha . Their cards just plummeted value hardcore. you'd be nuts to pay much over $500 for one 2nd hand

When have AMD rumors ever been true?

The only thing sad about the Australian Nvidia pricing is that I know there probably won't be a heavily discounted version from Amazon US now that we have to pay GST, but who knows, the increasing Australian dollar might fix that.

3090 is the new Titan for outlier sales, the 3080 will be their mainstream seller.

The market crashed 6 hours ago when Jenson announced the 3080 :p

If anyone buys a 2080Ti now for over $800+ they are simply an idiot.

Lovely to see official information and AUD pricing now.
Looks like September 24th is my day, i can not downgrade my 1080Ti to a 3080 with less VRAM because in 4k a couple of titles already use my 11gb.
    3090 it is :)

My last few cards have been Titans or a Titan. Not sure if my current card (Titan X Pascal) was the first Titan? Anyhow, it has done me well for the last few years. Purchased directly from Nvidia. Was bummed when the 1080Ti was released not long after.

Havent really used the 12GB memory. Currently gaming at 1440p

Been waiting for the Asus Rog Swift PG32UQX 4K @ 144Hz to be released.

I wonder if I should go the 3080 or the 3090? I dont game much any more, not a lot of games I enjoy currently or people to play with anymore.

Been waiting for an upgrade, for a while. Decisions decisions.

    Really enjoyed that release video.
